Kaiser ChiefsYorkshire rockers the Kaiser Chiefs, who release new single ‘Never Miss a Beat’ on 6th October, have announced an 11 date arena tour in February and March 2009 arriving at the Sheffield Arena on the 23rd February 2009.
Earlier this year the band cemented their position as one of the UK’s best live acts by playing a massive hometown show at Leeds Elland Road in addition to a string of major festivals across the country. The show is sure to be another huge success following on from previous sell out dates at the Arena. Having recently worked with producer Mark Ronson on their third studio album ‘Off With Their Heads’, out on 20th October, the Kaiser Chiefs will be hitting the road with a horde of new material in addition to such classics as ‘Ruby’, ‘Oh My God’ and ‘I Predict a Riot’
Kaiser Chiefs' Debut album ‘Employment’ released in 2005, a barrage of bouncing art-pop brilliance, was a huge critical and commerical success. They won ‘Album of the Year’ at the NME Awards and a prestigious Ivor Novello Award positioned Kaiser Chiefs alongside some of the greatest songwriters of all time. The Eagerly anticipated follow-up album “Yours Truly, Angry Mob” and the release of the lead single Ruby in February 2007, gave the band their first number one album and single in the British charts.
Special guests at the Sheffield Arena will be Black Kids.

After the day of on sale you can book your tickets for Kaiser Chiefs in person at the Arena Box Office from 10am - 6pm Monday to Saturday. Through the credit card hotline 0114 256 56 56 open 9am -9pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday opening times do vary, please call the box office before you travel to check the current opening hours, or online through the venue web site.
Customers can queue up to purchase tickets in person from the Arena Box Office, but only on the day of on sale. People queuing before this will be asked to return on the day of the on sale.
When making a booking please use only the card holders details to create the order, tickets can be posted only to the cardholder's address and collections made only by the cardholder on production of the card used and confirmation email.
We are unable to post tickets outside of the United Kingdom - anyone who's credit card address is registered outside of the UK must collect their tickets from the venue and present the credit card in person in order to issued with the tickets they purchased.
All pre-booked tickets that are collected from the venue can only be collected by the credit card holder who must sign for the tickets and present the card with which they have ordered the tickets.
Standing tickets purchased online or through the credit card hotline are subject to special delivery charge of £4.80 per order. Please note that we are unable to post by special delivery to countries outside of the UK, you must therefore arrange to collect tickets proir to or on the day of the event.
Please be aware that the standing area may not be suitable for children Under 14 - we recommend you purchase a ticket in the seated area.
