Due to phenomenal demand JLS have added three extra dates to their first arena tour starting in December. The additional shows at Liverpool, Cardiff and Sheffield will take JLS’ arena tour into 2011.
JLS will perform a second date at Sheffield Arena on Wednesday 5th January 2011, which follows their show on Friday 17th December. Tickets for the 2011 date, priced £25.54 & £31.67 (subject to booking fee) go on general sale at 10am on Friday 29th January.
JLS’s February 2010 UK tour sold out within 24 hours with multiple dates being added due to popular demand for London and Manchester. And it would have been even quicker had it not been for the booking agents computers crashing due to the demand.

JLS have had a phenomenal 12 months. Their first two singles debuted at Number 1 – ‘Beat Again’ and ‘Everybody In Love.’ Both songs also topped the radio airplay charts. Their debut self-titled album released in November stormed to the top of the album charts selling 239,643 copies in one week to make it the fastest selling debut by a group since the Arctic Monkeys released their debut in 2006. The album has now sold half a million in just 3 weeks.
As well as the record-breaking sales, JLS have been picking up awards along the way. In September they walked away with two MOBOs for Best Newcomer and Best Song for ‘Beat Again.’ And as if more proof was needed that their appeal lies outside of the standard pop network, JLS celebrity fans have announced themselves, unashamed, in as varied and distinct personae as Pet Shop Boys, Keri Hilson and Mr. Hudson.
